May 2009 — Murnane Brandt personal injury attorney Steven J. Kirsch was recently featured in ‘Too Much Pain, Not Enough Money,” as seen in the April 26, 2009 edition of Pioneer Press. Steve, who was appointed to the three-member panel responsible for dividing $36.6 million in state funds among I-35W bridge collapse victims, offers an in-depth account of the process used for reviewing claims that arose out of the tragic August 2007 bridge collapse—and the emotional toll on all involved.
Steve was appointed to the I-35W Survivor Compensation Fund special master panel by the Chief Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court in May 2008, along with attorneys Susan M. Holden and Michael D. Tewksbury. Practicing law for more than 30 years, Steve is an accomplished litigator at Murnane Brandt skilled in ADR, toxic torts and civil litigation.
