Murnane Brandt personal injury attorney Steven J. Kirsch spoke on October 15 before members of the Blue Earth County Bar Association. As one of three attorneys appointed to the I-35W Survivor Compensation Fund special master panel, the topic of his presentation is his experience serving the Twin Cities community in this capacity.

Steve was appointed to the I-35W Survivor Compensation Fund special master panel by the Chief Justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court in May 2008. The panel was responsible for reviewing claims and determining the final compensation allotted to victims of the August 2007 I-35W bridge collapse, an approximate $36.6 million in state funds.

Practicing law for more than 30 years, Steve is an accomplished litigator at Murnane Brandt skilled in ADR, toxic torts and civil litigation. Most recently, he was recognized for his I-35W work with MSBA’s Professional Excellence Award and a special plaque from the Minnesota Judicial Council.
