In honor of his longtime support of legal aid and Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS), Murnane Brandt personal injury attorney Steven J. Kirsch was recently honored with SMRLS’ Centennial Lifetime Leadership Award at the organization’s Centennial Gala Luncheon in November.

Steve has been involved with SMRLS for more than a decade. He has served as chair of SMRLS’ Campaign for Legal Aid (CLA) since 1994, playing an integral role in raising more than $7 million for the nonprofit and its fund-raising program.

In addition to this award, Steve has been recognized by a number of other organizations this year, including Hamline University of Law, the Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA), and the Minnesota Judicial Council, all of which have highlighted his important legal work on the I-35W Survivor Compensation Fund special master panel.

Practicing law for more than 30 years, Steve is an accomplished litigator at Murnane Brandt skilled in ADR, toxic torts and civil litigation. He is a 1976 graduate of Hamline University School of Law.
