Andy Shern Moderates Panel on St. Croix River Preservation

Murnane Brandt shareholder and senior litigator Andrew T. Shern served as moderator for a recent panel discussion fostering dialogue about the future of the St. Croix River and the nuances of having shared jurisdiction under the National Park Service and two state governments. The panel was hosted as part of an inaugural Earth Day Conference entitled “One River – Two States…#157; hosted at the newly opened St. Croix Falls Public Library. Event sponsors included the St. Croix Scenic Coalition, the St. Croix Valley Foundation and the St. Croix River Association.

Andy is a seasoned litigator practicing in civil litigation, construction and premises liability litigation, and commercial litigation. In recent years, he has provided pro bono representation of the Sierra Club as well as the St. Croix River Association in longstanding litigation involving proposed residential development along the river (Hubbard v. DNR).
