Murnane Brandt trial attorney Thomas A. Gilligan, Jr. is scheduled to present on social networking and lawyers’ ethics at DRI’s Strictly Retail Seminar, a two-day conference for retail executives and attorneys who represent retailers nationally. The conference will be May 12-13 in Chicago.
“Social Networking Sites and the Ethical Issues That They Create” will address the ethical issues related to the personal and professional use of social networking sites by lawyers, including communication with clients, third parties and the public; advertising and solicitation; the unauthorized practice of law (UPL); attorney-client relationships; and the data made available through discovery and investigations.
