October 2007: Murnane Brandt was selected as Firm of the Year by the Chrysalis/Tubman Family Alliance for its work with the Pro Bono Safety Project.  Murnane Brandt attorneys and staff, Thom Gilligan, Laura Gurney, Scott Williams, Cally Swanson and Nancy Vu handled two appeals and six district court cases in the past ten months. The Pro Bono Safety Project matches volunteer attorneys with women and children to secure Orders for Protection against their abusers.
