Christian practices in several areas of civil litigation, including product liability, environmental law, employment law, commercial/business disputes and negligence law. He also has experience in the toxic tort and mass tort litigation areas. Christian's professional memberships include the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association.
Prior to joining Murnane Brandt, Christian served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Michael T. De Courcy, Judge of Ramsey County District Court. Christian obtained his J.D. from Hamline University School of Law in 2007. At Hamline, Christian served on the Hamline Journal of Public Law and Policy, and was published in the Fall 2005 edition of the Journal. Christian was also a three time member of the Dean's Honor Roll and received the CALI Award for achieving the highest grade in his first year Civil Procedure class.
In law school, Christian served as a law clerk in the Ramsey County Attorney's Office. This experience was invaluable, as it afforded Christian the opportunity to make frequent court appearances on behalf of the State of Minnesota. He also volunteered in the Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights during his third year of law school.
Christian is a 2001 graduate of Marquette University, where he majored in English and Political Science and spent a semester in Washington D.C. interning for a United States Congressman. |
