Christopher Drake practices primarily in civil litigation, focusing on insurance coverage and defense. He has experience representing clients diligently in matters involving personal injury defense, construction defects and affirmative litigation. Christopher’s practice also includes serving as an arbitrator in real property disclosure disputes through the National Center for Dispute Settlement (NCDS). He is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
Prior to joining Murnane Brandt, Christopher practiced law with a particular focus on insurance fraud. With previous insurance industry experience, he is able to better understand clients’ businesses and offer additional insight. He has represented insurers in federal and state court and before the Minnesota Court of Appeals. He has also represented insurers in no-fault arbitration.
Christopher is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA), Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association (MDLA) and the Defense Research Institute (DRI). He is an adjunct instructor for a course titled Litigation, Constitutional Principles and Business Ethics and the Law at Globe University.
Christopher received his B.S. in psychology and political science from Tennessee State University. He received his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, where he participated in the Rosalie E. Wahl moot court competition.
In his spare time, Christopher enjoys spending time with his family, playing competitive golf and riding his motorcycle.
