Laura Gurney practices civil litigation in the areas of construction, insurance defense, product liability, and general litigation. She is admitted to practice in the State of Minnesota and United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.

Prior to joining Murnane Brandt, Laura practiced in a Minneapolis firm focusing on commercial litigation. She received her J.D. magna cum laude from Hamline University School of Law in 2004. While in law school, Laura was a member of the Hamline Law Review and worked as a student prosecutor for the Dakota County Attorney's Office. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota , with a degree in Psychology.

In her free time, Laura enjoys aerobics, yoga, and travel.
