Kami Hopkins is an associate in Murnane Brandt’s Civil Litigation Group, focusing primarily on toxic tort and mass tort litigation, as well as general insurance defense. Kami is admitted to practice in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Her professional memberships include the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Wisconsin Bar Association.
Kami earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota in 2009. While at the University of Minnesota, Kami studied abroad at Uppsala Universitet in Uppsala, Sweden. She was also a member of the Journal of International Law, and completed externships for the Honorable Steven D. Wheeler of the Second Judicial District of Minnesota and the General Counsel of Christopher & Banks Corporation. Kami is a 2002 graduate of the University of Minnesota with a B.A., magna cum laude, in Political Science, where she spent a semester in Washington, D.C. interning in the International Trade Administration at the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Prior to attending law school, Kami worked in pediatric cancer research. Her work on the late effects of childhood cancer and cancer treatments is published in the journals Pediatric Blood & Cancer and The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism.
In her free time, Kami enjoys traveling, gardening, and reading. |
