Recognized in multiple practice areas, Bill Moran has distinguished
himself as an accomplished litigator. He regularly represents consumer,
commercial and industrial product manufacturers, retailers, and
insurers. In addition to his Minnesota trial work he has built a strong
national reputation for defending clients involving playground
equipment, disposable lighters, farm machinery and drill presses as
well as class action lawsuits brought against insurance companies.
He is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Minnesota
and Nebraska, the US Court of Appeals for the 7th and 8th Circuits,
and the United States Supreme Court.
Bill received his J.D., cum laude, from the William Mitchell College
of Law in 1986 and his B.A., with honors, from St. John's University
in 1981. Committed to contributing to the law profession, Bill is
a frequent lecturer and author for continuing education programs
and seminars throughout the state. He is a former Associate Editor
and contributing author for Minnesota Defense (the publication of
the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association). Bill has co-authored
a manual on expert witness selection, preparation, and presentation
for The National Business Institute. Family time is Bill's most important
priority – he cheers on his daughter and son in several sports and high
school activities.
