Robert Murnane is the senior lawyer at the firm. Admitted to practice in Minnesota in 1959, Bob’s knowledge of law and ethics is legendary in Minnesota. His practice is focused on civil litigation, insurance defense and appellate practice. He has tried over 100 cases to verdict and most frequently defends insured clients in personal injury and property damage cases. He has represented State Farm insureds for over 40 years.
Bob is a member of the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the International Association of Insurance Counsel, the Association of Insurance Attorneys, and the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is also listed among the Best Lawyers of America and as a Minnesota Super Lawyer.
He is a former chairman of the Minnesota Clients Security Fund (1977-1979) and the Lawyers Professional Responsibility Board (1977-1982).
Bob received his law degree from the University of Minnesota in 1959 and his B.S.L. from the University of Minnesota in 1958.

When out of the office, Bob can be found jet skiing or snowmobiling at his cabin in northern Minnesota as weather permits.
