Elizabeth Murthy practices civil litigation with an emphasis on toxic tort and product liability. She is admitted to practice in the State of Minnesota and is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association.
Prior to joining Murnane, Elizabeth was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Thomas Wexler, Fourth Judicial District in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She also worked at a general practice firm in Dakota County focusing on criminal law and eminent domain. During her tenure in Dakota County, Elizabeth tried numerous court trials and jury trials.
Elizabeth earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 2005, where she focused on civil litigation and trial preparation. She graduated with honors from the University of Denver in 2000, receiving a B.A. in psychology. Prior to attending law school, she researched education reform. Her work with education reform has been published in the journal Theory Into Practice.
In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, running, skiing, and cooking. She is also an active member of the Minnesota Orchestra and serves on the Crescendo Project Board. |
