Tom represents manufacturers and distributors in complex tort and regulatory matters. He combines experience and intuition with the power of technology to identify and evaluate trends, and construct positive outcomes. Tom is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Minnesota, and has appeared pro hac vice in numerous other states.
Tom is from Cleveland, Ohio. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Hamline University School of Law in 1987 and his B.A. from St. Olaf College in 1983. Prior to joining Murnane Brandt, Tom was a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas G. Forsberg in the Minnesota Court of Appeals and a senior law clerk to the Honorable Randolph W. Peterson in the Minnesota Court of Appeals. He is a certified USA Youth Hockey coach and regularly plays in charity events for the Ramsey County Bar Association and Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services.
