Peter Tiede concentrates his practice in business and real estate transactions and local government. He represents a number of community banks, closely held businesses and small governments in financial transactions, real estate transactions, and general matters of governance, succession planning and corporate matters. Peter also has an extensive background in litigation, particularly in the areas of zoning and land use.
He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Minnesota, as well as the State of Wisconsin.
Peter received his J.D., cum laude, from the William Mitchell College of Law in 1994 and his B.A. from Hamline University in 1989. He has lectured and spoken extensively on land use and other related issues as well as on matters of local government law. He has authored a number of articles for the Minnesota Association of Townships, and is a co-author of "The Practical Guide to the 60 Day Rule," a manual for local government officials charged with complying with the requirements of Minnesota Statutes §15.99.
He enjoys outdoor activities of all kinds with his three children.
